π Problem Overview
When sending emails from a shared mailbox, many users notice that the sent email is saved in both:
- Their personal mailbox’s “Sent Items” folder, and
- The shared mailbox’s “Sent Items” folder.
While this behavior ensures redundancy, it can lead to unnecessary clutter or confusion β especially if your goal is to store sent emails only in the shared mailbox.

π οΈ How to Fix It
Use Outlook Web Rule (Workaround)
- Go to π https://outlook.office.com
- Click on the gear icon (β) β Mail β Rules



3. Review all mail rules one by one and delete any rules that copy shared mailbox sent emails to your personal ‘Sent Items’ folder.
